Industrial Spills

Industrial Spills

EWSG’s combination jet/vac trucks and air movers allow us the versatility to clean up industrial or other large spills of any kind, as long as the materials are non-hazardous.

Service Overview

We can vacuum up most types of material spills—liquids, dry materials, a mixture of wet and dry, and sludge—as long as the material can flow through a six- or eight-inch hose or tube, has a flash point higher than 150 degrees, and is non-hazardous under EPA classifications.

Problem

You run a concrete production line whose conveyor belt has just snapped and dumped 15,000 tons of dry mix on the factory floor. Or you are a facilities manager whose floor waxer has just inadvertently dumped 3000 gallons of liquid wax all over your school gymnasium. Or your food processing plant has developed a blockage and now half-processed mixtures are overflowing all your mixing vats onto the plant floor.

Solution

Call EWSG, and we’ll dispatch the needed type of cleanup vehicle to your location, 24/7, any day of the year.

Result

Your shop floor, factory, institution, or other facility will have the spilled materials cleaned up and deposited to any location you have legal rights to use, allowing you to return to normal operations.

Tools and Methods

Upon receiving your call, our emergency response manager will ask you to describe, in as much detail as possible, what kind of spill you have, what you need us to do, and how and where we can dispose of your spilled materials. This manager will determine whether we need to send a jet/vac combination truck, an air mover truck, or a combination of the two, to get the cleanup done most quickly and cost-effectively, creating as little disruption to your daily routine as possible. We have the ability to deposit your materials somewhere that allows non-compromised contents to be re-used, wasting as little of it as possible.

You’ll be asked to name and make available a single contact person for the dispatcher and their crew to communicate with directly throughout the cleanup operation. You can expect impeccable, consistent communication concerning where our trucks are, what they’re doing, what progress has been made, and an estimated time of completion. If at any time during the operation your situation changes, simply communicate that change and how it will affect our crew, and we’ll adjust to continue serving your emergency needs until the job is completed to your satisfaction.
