EWSG’s KRG Utility CCTV segment was awarded the issued the bid work, upon completion of an on-site visit and report studies for evaluations that could affect cost, progress, and performance of the requested scope of work.
Problem
This scoped work was to meet 2T state rules and regulations for the Town of Booneville, which governed the annual cleaning of 10% of the entire system required by the state of NC for Booneville’s collection system permit.
Solution
KRG Utility drafted a proposal and provided a 4-member crew to provide these bid contract of cleaning/ services. To meet project qualifications, KRG had to supply a 5% bid bond, an IRS W-9 form, Qualifications Statement, referrals from other CCTV and construction project customers, an Equipment Summary, a description of KRG staff qualifications, proof of a Workers Compensation policy, and 4 years’ worth (2018-2022) of OSHA Form 300.
At a budget of $320,000.00, KRG planned for 2 ½-3 months of cleaning/CCTV scope work using Combination/Vac truck and a CCTV side-by-side UTV.
Result
The scoped project ensured compliance with the Town of Booneville’s 10% collection system cleaning for the 2023 calendar year requirement. This awarded project resulted in around 100 additional sectional point repairs for the Town of Booneville’s collection system sewer main lines. KRG Utility now has a contracted agreement for recurring sewer cleaning & CCTV projects for the Town.
